PROJECT OVERVIEW

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Tea & Tiaras is a university branding and UX/UI project centered around a whimsical, pop-up family dining experience that transforms an existing restaurant into a storybook-inspired event space every weekend. Inspired by the immersive energy of themed brunch experiences, the concept reimagines traditional restaurant service by replacing hosts and servers with “royal princess” characters who entertain guests throughout their visit.

For this project, I developed the full brand identity, including a primary logo system and animated logo outro, and translated the visual language into a responsive UX/UI prototype that allows families to book a reservation online. The website was iterated through usability testing with parents to refine the sitemap and reservation flow. The final result blends playful storytelling with functional, family-friendly navigation for what they want to see.

Reservations

The Reservation page was designed with usability as the top priority. Families can select a date, party size, and preferred time slot through a simplified booking flow. Clear visual cues, progress indicators, and confirmation messaging reduce friction and build trust. The interface was refined based on parent feedback to ensure the process felt quick, reassuring, and easy to complete—especially for users booking on mobile devices.

Landing Page

The landing page was designed specifically for paid ads and social media campaigns. It streamlines the experience by focusing on one featured event or limited-time theme, with concise messaging, engaging visuals, and a single primary call-to-action. This page minimizes navigation distractions to increase conversion and make booking seamless.

Home & About

The home page introduces the magical world of Tea & Tiaras through a soft, pastel-forward color palette, whimsical typography, and playful motion inspired by the animated logo. A clear call-to-action for “Reserve Your Table” anchors the hero section, while supporting sections preview upcoming events, themed menus, and character hosts. The layout balances fantasy with usability—keeping navigation intuitive for busy parents while maintaining a charming, storybook aesthetic.

Events

The Events page highlights rotating weekend themes (such as seasonal royal balls or holiday teas), allowing families to browse upcoming experiences by date. Each event card features a brief description, featured princess hosts, and a direct reservation link. The design emphasizes clarity and scannability, helping parents quickly understand what makes each weekend unique.
